Sub $1k bolt 300 win mag .5-.75 consistent moa?

Are there any factory bolt rifles in 300 win mag that will hold 1/2 to 3/4 moa all day long.

Prefer hunting over 12lb bench rest
Icing on cake would be mag fed

Prefer not a finiky rifle that might shoot sub moa one group out of 20 or one day out of 7.
Prefer a rifle that will shoot 10 groups of 5 in .75 all day every day.
Also would like a gun that doesnt zing a cold bore 6 inches high and rigjt etc.


Too much to ask?

If not in the sub 1k price maybe sub 1.5k?

That would be a bit heavy for me to be toting uphill on a hunt. But I'm older these days.

However, a lighter rifle in .300 Win kicks more, and using my Tikka T-3 Lite in .300 Win as an example - I cannot shoot more than a couple of groups off the bench with it or flinching will be inevitable. It will pretty reliably shoot under.75 for three shots with loads it likes and as long as I do my part. I have a custom Rem 700 in .300 Wthby that shoots under .75 and closer to .65 with my handloads, but it weighs a couple pounds more and is more pleasant to shoot. I can shoot 30-40 rounds with it at a session - obviously with breaks in between to shoot other rifles.

The 5R linked above is going to be your only real option. To shoot a long string of rounds in virtually any chamber you will need a heavy contour barrel. No hunting rifle will do what you want.

Buy a $419 Remington long range model from Dicks and rebarrel it.
You will be into it about $1000 by the time you put a Bartlein barrel on it.
It will set your accuracy requirement if you are able to shoot it that well.

Saw it mentioned in a thread this last week or so that they had the longrange models on sale for $419.
The longrange models are long action chambered 700's with heavy barrels in B&C stock.
Basically, an sps finish sendero.

No hunting weight barrel will shoot groups all day long. Barrel heat after 3-5 rounds causes the groups to open up. You'll need at least 1" dia to reduce the problem - oh and a hand truck to haul it around.

Hence why you buy a heavy barrelled rifle.
26" Remington heavy barrels are 0.820" at the muzzle.

Op is obviously looking for a target rifle as you do not shoot 5-10 round groups on game animals because game animals won't hold still after you start shooting at them.
