    My advice?

    Full size.
    9mm.
    Manual safety.
Because people who ask questions like this really have no clue on what it is they like.

It took me years and several purchases and sales to arrive at what I like.

I can tell you this, I don't care much for slide mounted safeties, decockers, aluminum frames, and overpriced German guns.

Minimal difference might be just what I need for the Glock. If the grip on the Gen3 was literally .25-.5" smaller I'd probably be more than content with it. I love how it shoots, sights are great, easy to strip and maintain.

        Good point himurax13!

I also have bought and sold a few guns before deciding what I finally wanted. I warmed up to the M&P line because the feel of the gun but went back to my Glock because I shoot it more accurately.

I've got a Sig 2022 - I like my PX4 better... *my* sig has a weird little reverb feel to it that I attribute to the recoil spring bouncing slightly after the shot. Dosn't affect it one way or the other - it's accurate, just a weird feeling after the shot. None of my other guns exhibit that. (and I love my little P938 for carry)

The difference is around .20 but that is comparing to a gen 4 so the gen 3 should be just a bit less or around the same as the PX4. In my opinion the big difference is the grip angle also in my opinion the PX4 is way easier to take down no been to rack the slide all you do is pull down on the tabs & it releases the slide.good luck on you choice

I love my PX4 .40 and would recommend it to anyone. The rotating barrel makes it reeaally smooth to shoot and the ergonomics are great. The Glock is obviously
a great gun too, but if you're only going to have one gun do you really want it to be that ugly?

.20"? That's a decent amount. Could be a world of difference for me. Has anyone shaved down their Gen3? I mean it is polymer and adding some texture for grip shouldn't be too hard.

Going to try and drive around town to see if any other shops have the PX4 or something else. Does anyone have the 92 Compact?

How does it compare to the full size? Same heft to it minus the barrel size?

Yeah, it does have the same heft but not as much. I have a few carry pistols (G19, Shield, 1911) and the 92 Compact is the most accurate....for me. I'm probably going to get it converted to a G so the decocker/safety issue will go away.

                        I too have a full-size PX4 9mm.
Fits my large hands. I've shot my wife's 92fs for years so I'm comfortable with the safety / decocker location. I converted it from the G to an F (decocker only).

                          well, lets see

                          i own a Beretta Px4 Storm 9mm
                          i own a Beretta 92fs 9mm
                          i own a Beretta Cheetah .380
                          i own a Beretta Cougar 9mm

i like Beretta's, don't own any Glock's so im probably biased

im fine with SA/DA firearms, doesn't bother me a bit...as for the safeties on the slide, i can live with it, there has never been any problem that it created for me...i can have one in the chamber and not be too concerned about the safety being engaged, since it's a longer DA pull anyway...i do have a Browning Hi-Power that is SA

i've concealed carried the .380, no issues, but, if i was to conceal carry on a more regular basis, i would probably look into something specifically designed for concealed carry

as far as HD, my Storm is with me at night, and, my Ruger GP100 is there too

So basically you rack the slide, put one in the chamber and then decock it, leave safety off. It's basically ready to rock and roll?

Don't know if this was mentioned earlier, but the Glock grip can be reduced and or reshaped. Lots of places offer this service; Robar will probably give you an idea of what's possible. If you're looking for a 0.20" reduction to make a gen 3 Glock workable it's worth looking into.
