M&P 45 - get the compact if you can find it (4" barrel).

I have a Wilson 10rnd 1911 45 mag. Works flawless, but I have problems turning around anywhere without snagging something.

            I second that notion.

              +1 for Sig P227.

Soft shooting, and feels so nice in my hands.
Also it holds 10 rounds, as if it were made for California (but so hard to find here).

Carry version has full-sized grip, just shorter barrel. Look at the SAS if you dont want it snagging on things.

the quality of the w german/german Sig Sauer P220 .45 ACP permits inclusion within any group of various full-size .45 ACP semi-auto handguns being considered for purchase.

Glock. All day every day. If you want reliability, durability and consistency.

Buy a 9mm and use bonded bullets form any of the major manufactures . You can't do better.

I love my XD Tactical. As easy to shoot accurately as anything I've ever tried.

PPT an SSE P227. Hi capacity .45 mags, sig's world class reputation for accuracy and reliability. It's a sweet gun to shoot. Glocks are cheaper but you get what you pay for. There are a few p227 in the cg marketplace and online forums.
