Nah...I have a RIA CS .45, A Ruger GP100, and to spice things up a little, I bought me an SP2022 in .40. All my pistol needs have been met and then some. With that being said, pistols never really caught on with me and I owned a few. I guess I am more of a rifle guy.

Exactly my thoughts and understanding of CA laws but I keep seeing in various threads people acting like they're good because they got out of state family.

Interstate intrafamilial transfer is roster exempt but must still go through FFL. Intrastate intrafamilial transfer can be done without FFL.

If I had more money at the moment I would be going crazy with this SSE craze. I got my AR pistol so at least I got something.

I bought two SSE pistols this year, 'cause I wanted 'em and they won't be easily or cheaply available after January 1st, especially new. I have other guns, and enough handguns, so I haven't panicked over anything. But I'm happy to see the buying frenzy, and I'm sure the manufacturers and dealers are too - and so will be 2nd amendment supporters in Sacramento and Washington, and so will be opponents of the CA roster and other ridiculous laws in CA and other states.

Well, it's like a door closing and I want to get that last (Fill in the blank) before that last chance to get one goes away.

I'm not panicked. Wife and I have been going with two a month for well over a year, pretty set.

I'm not, I kind of laugh when I see the standard M&P 9 for sale in our classified here all ready for $700+.

But yes, they will become harder to get, I want a new M&P 40 right now, but I won't pay gouging prices, I may pick one up, but if not, I'm fortunate to have kids who have escaped from the Peoplezs Republik of Kalaforna who love me, and on occasion, may decide to gift me a gun, my daughter has surprised me in the past.

What is SSE? I'm guessing another scare, "you can't buy black rifles" I'm really not sure. BUT the Glocks were always available to buy. Are they getting banned too... What's the deal
