all guns should be Glocks. All Glocks should be 9mm. All Glock 9mms should be 19s.

By what's quoted in your sig of course your not in a panic over SSE , the glock 19/26/34 are on the roster. I bet if the single stacked 9mm glock was released today you would be going nuts

Curious to hear how this friend hook up works.
Friend or sibling "hook ups" aren't legal.

FROM a parent/grand parent TO their child/grand child is how it works.

Meh, I'm not caught up in the rush. The only thing I want off roster is a Berretta 92 compact in Inox but I dont HAVE to have it. If I see one at the local LGS I will get it for my December 1 in 30, but if not I'll be happy next year with a full sized 92 Inox.

I can certainly understand pistol enthusiasts and their rush though, some of the pistols posted here look absolutely beautiful (CZ, Sphinx, Sig Xfive). It is some ridiculous government BS as usual that keeps lawful collectors from filling their gun safe while doing squat to stop illegal guns and violence.

It can go in either direction. Grand Parent to Grand Child, Parent to Child, or Child to Parent or Grand Parent.

We got ours out of the way in July. Nothing I really have to have right now.

Personally I am more concerned about when my favorite pistol powders will be back in stock in 8 lb jugs.

I don't think it's crazy to stock up on the handguns that you want that you can't buy new next year. SSE is only a process to legally buy handguns that are not on the Roster, if someone likes guns that are not on the roster than why is it crazy? If someone likes the guns that are on the roster than they are lucky, to each their own. IMO having a Roster is crazy IMO.

I wouldn't say I panicked about it, but my wife and I made sure to get what we wanted, and then some extra funds freed up and we got some more stuff, and now we are considering whether or not to avail ourselves of our last "slot"

                        Well said.

If the internet was around in 86, I wonder if those who were stocking up on FA would be told they were panicking. When the mag restrictions came down this year, I made sure to stock up, including a lot of guns I did not own but might one day. I'm happy that I did.

After SSE is gone, I don't know if anyone has a plan for SSE2 yet or if there will ever be one. Then all we can do is hope for Pena to take down the roster, but you know that will be appealed for years even if we do win.

I was wanting a full frame 9mm. As things turned out the 9 that was right for me is still on the roster. I just jailed a Beretta M9 today. I didnt want to get caught up SSE something just because. Now if a certain must have pistol fancied my eye... buy all means SSE. lol

I'm in no panic. My mom visits from Oregon every now and then...

Correct me if I'm wrong but I keep seeing people say things like...got family out a state that can get me whatever I want...assuming they aren't talking illegal (by CA standards, not the constitution) transfers, how is this legal.....don't both parties have to be CA residents for familial transfers????

Interstate transfers must go through FFL.

Not true if you purchase a gun on consignment or a through a PPT.
