SSE panic?

Anyone else here not going crazy over SSE or is it just me?

I don't know but just picked up a Sig p220 Scorpion at Rifle Gear and then paid in full a Sig P226 9mm Scorpion but can't DROS until December 4th.

i have a great dealer. i have 2 slots left but keep changing my mind. He is constantly showing me something different that cant live without.

The reason I waited until a couple of months ago was because I never saw all these great pistols until recently! My LGS stocked up on hundreds of SSE pistols. That was my downfall!! I saw so many I wanted. So now I have one more if I time it right. But now I won't buy one unless I have to absolutely have it.

I just filled my last slot, so the only thing i need to worry about now is my credit card Co. I hear ya though, i fond this last one a bit aggravating until i decided.

I wouldn't go looking to buy guns that can only be bough via SSE due to the end of SSE sales, but if there were guns I had already wanted, I went and SSE'ed them.

ie; I bought the off roster guns I wanted to buy, but I didn't go and look for off roster guns to fill in the SEE "slots".

I have bought 5 SSE guns, but three of them I bought before the "panic". One I bought because I wanted it and thought I'd better get it before we lost SSE (ie I had wanted it before, but I accelerated buying it to make sure I could get it), and one gun I tried and liked, and it happened to be off roster (Walther PPQ 5").

So I didn't go and buy 5 VP9s, but if there were guns I wanted, I accelerated getting them, and that was months ago, so many "slots" have passed me by.

Nah not at all. Im just finalizing my last purchase in 2 weeks. Still trying to decide what it will be though. It's not consuming my life or my pay checks. I know I can squeeze in another purchase in late December but I doubt it, not really interested in the pressure or the scare associated with "oh but you will never have that handgun again!" Type of deal.

Honestly I find shooting ARs, my M1A, tavor, and Marlins more of a pleasurable experience than shooting handguns.

Nope. Not here. Maybe if you were a collector/reseller, however I'm on the utilitarian side and only buy to fill a role.

Besides, something newer/better will always come out. Look at Glocks for example.

I am just upset that I didn't hear about the loophole closing earlier or that Addax Tacitical doesn't charge for SSE, unlike other people ...

I would have custom ordered a new Shadow if I had known.

I have pretty much everything I absolutely have to have. Maybe one or two things that would be nice to have, but it is really more depending on monetary resources vs. supply.

No panic here. Had my SSE's all planned out for the year and will begin my last SSE DROS on Dec. 27th after 6 pm.

I will say the end to SSE had me buying some pistols a little sooner than I might have otherwise but the way I see it its a 'snooze you lose" kinda situation,
