    SSE panic?

Anyone else here not going crazy over SSE or is it just me?

Nah not at all. Im just finalizing my last purchase in 2 weeks. Still trying to decide what it will be though. It's not consuming my life or my pay checks. I know I can squeeze in another purchase in late December but I doubt it, not really interested in the pressure or the scare associated with "oh but you will never have that handgun again!" Type of deal.

Honestly I find shooting ARs, my M1A, tavor, and Marlins more of a pleasurable experience than shooting handguns.

whats your definition of crazy? Buying an SSE every month since bill was signed? Then yes, I'm crazy. But the first one was ordered before I knew the bill was on its way to be signed. Call me crazy, but I have one bad *** collection.

I wouldn't call it a panic or frenzy, but I have been SSE'ing a pistol every month for the past several. Kind of hard to panic when you can only buy one a month.

So long as I start my next DROS on the 29th (already purchased), I will be able to buy one more pistol right before years end.

I've seen some non SSE guns at prices so low online I've been tempted to let them sit at my FFL until the new year.

Maybe you will feel it next year as things continue to fall off the roster.

I have no idea why gun owners waiting for the very last moment to SSE handguns. I have been SSE-ed off pistols before Jerry Brown vetoed last year bill. Did he claims that it makes sense to cease SSE? Are we expected SSE ban again this year? Why did we wait the beginning of this year?

I've already got the SSE guns I really wanted, G17 and G19.

                  Everything else was just because.

Yeah. Long before the new law and JB signed it. 16 months ago I decided on one SSE per month. Mainly because I wanted certain guns. I have 2 slots left.....

And next year, I plan on SAE Several Wheel guns that are off roster.

In the meantime, my biggest First World Problem is what to buy after the 21st of November at 3:10 PM......the same problem on Dec. 21.....

Also, be sure and add a Rifle or lower to your handgun DROS, no charge..

I already have what I want.

And the stuff I do want, hasn't come out yet and won't until at least next year (which I have other ways of obtaining ).

I SSE'd a Sig M11-A1 mainly as a big FU to Stupid Kalifornia law but that's it for me. I have what I want.

So nice of the DOJ to include that information for us on DROS forms this year!

Since Dickinson first challenged SSE, I added 41 SSE handguns to my collection. I would still like 16 others, but over the past few months I've come to accept that I won't be able to get them.

I am still holding one SSE spot on the hopes that a Sig X-Six PPC will pop up before the end of the year though.

Hard to truly call it a "panic" when we are limited to 1 in 30
