You should have just bought a H&K VP9.

No. The induced malfunction from holding a firearm incorrectly isnt a flaw.

I hold a glock the same way I hold every other firearm I shoot. Theres no flaw.

The owner wasn't sure either, but got the OK from Glock. Saved me a bunch.

My money is on limp wristing. Whether people like Glock or not it's pretty unanimous that they WORK. And why the L? Cool factor? Either way good luck my friend.

Yep, it's inherent in the design and counteracting that is a firm grip.

I do think limpwristing is a massively overused term though. It's not as common as the internet would lead you to believe.

I can't believe OP paid $730 for a Glock. That's gotta be $200 over MSRP.

I see this often in this thread. people don't know what a 17L costs and rag on the OP for overpaying.

the 17L is a limited production run item that Glock runs on occasion. MSRP is much higher than an standard 17, around $650. once you add in tax and DROS, you are right around that $730 price.

Yeah but in their minds, OP doesn't know how to shoot a gun, so he probably also doesn't know all Glocks are supposed to cost $500. And he surely doesn't know Glocks are very ammo-sensitive and require only the finest 124-grain factory new ammo during their break-in period. What a buffoon...

Limited production run or not, it's still just a Glock.

Agreed. I don't think anyone has an issue with the OP paying $730 for a "Model 17L." Some of us just might be surprised that anyone would pay $730 for a plastic Glock . . . period.

Freaking Glocks. The only thing you should do with a Glock is send it to me. If it won't work, I'll throw it at the BG.
