    Can't wait to see pics

I am looking forward to seeing pics of your new Wilson Combat CQB so rather than waiting 10 days, why don't you take a camera along with you tomorrow when you go to buy it.

You won't be sorry....I have a CQB and the compact version of it....fantastic examples of non-safe queen semi-custom guns!! Accurate and reliable out of the box.

      Enjoy!

I actually have to ship it from out of state so it should arrive in a week but here is a pic of it with green fiber optic front.

I was browsing and saw a black slide with a green frame. I think I will place an order for it since my bonus check is arriving end of the month!

It's a .45. Have enough ammo for a few trips to the range but now I have to stock up on .45 ammo.

So I have a chance to buy a Wilson CQB that is currently in stock...1 in stock. I'm pulling the trigger to purchase it first thing tomorrow! Thanks everyone! I appreciate everyone's feedback as every feedback helped!
                      Great decision!
                      You're going to love it.

You will stand a little taller at the range and be the the envy of those around you while other Wilson owners will nod their approval at you.

Personally I've always been a fan of Wilson. But everyone I know loses their pants for NightHawks. Both are stellar pistols, I've been blessed to have friends with both and let me shoot them.

So personally I'd grab a Wilson. Unless I wanted to show it off to friends, NightHakws tend to have people lose their minds and drool over more than any other 1911 I've noticed. So depends on your end goal. NightHakw for show, Wilson for go. YMMV.

Quality is the number one factor so Wilson is it. Although I still like Nighthawk, I don't want my purchase to be a hit or miss. Thanks for all your inputs!

So I now have a new Wilson dilemma...I have a choice of a Wilson CQB (5" & on roster) or a Bill Wilson Carry (4" & off roster so it has to be SSE). Which would you prefer?

I am not a fan of bushing-less 1911's so of the two, I'd pick the 5" CQB.

Bushing-less 1911's require a tool (paper clip) to disassemble and recoil spring replacement is a bit harder. I know, not a whole lot, and there are options out there (like Dawson Precision tool-less guide rod and 10-8 recoil spring and guide rod set) but I want my 1911's to be as simple as possible - GI guide rod and plug. I had a TRP Operator and hated disassembling it!

BTW, the on-roster version of the CQB has the OD green frame. FYI.

I'm not a fan of the Wilson OD Green myself.

1 - Black slide on Grey Frame
2 - Black slide, Black Frame

5 inch standard bushing gun is my preference, bushingless bull barrel is a pain ( I have had a few) LOTS of guys like em but I would go standard given the choice
