      argh... so tempting...

I'd have to sell my HK45 to fund this... should I?

I shot it a few times and will be getting one. Just looking for the right place to do the SSE...thats the hard part since these guns are pretty rare in CA.

If you're in the OC I'm sure Mike at OC Armory will do it... it looks like you're in Reseda? Isn't EBR near you? I'm sure they'll do it.

what's the difference between this and a 2000? is it as well made/done as the 2000?
EDIT: above question answered by a quick google search. the SDP is a mass produced offering from sphinx. the 2000 and 3000 are still their handmade offerings.

if sphinx becomes even close to readily available at last, i'm guess i'm going to have to make sure i get a 2000 or at least a sdp ASAP.

Yeah I was thinking of selling my 2000 for all of 30 seconds the other day when I was getting a quote on a jardine. The 2000 is hand fitted. Steel Frame and just another level. Why a 2000 in great condition is in the 2600-3k range almost the few times they pop up for sale

I spoke to Michael at EBR and they aren't tooled up for the Sphinx nor do they have a distributor for them. The other places I've gotten confirmations that they can do it want to charge $150 for the SSE plus tax and DROS (and an additional $10 for each added mag).

Not bad might have to look into it.

It's not that expensive considering that the SDP is milled from a solid block of stainless steel and aluminum. It's closest cousin the P-07 is forged or stamped iron. Even the Shadow use forged iron I think.

                          I don't like the two-piece frame.

                            Group buy!

dadennis and I are just waiting for 10 round magazines to be available from Kriss/Sphinx so we can buy it from OC Armory.

The gun is sweet, very sweet.
