    Sphinx SDP

Came across the opportunity to purchase one of these. Would like to hear what some people's experiences have been with them.
I happened to pass the Sphinx booth at SHOT.I may not have even stopped, but apparently Sphinx is owned by the same company that owns KRISS, and who doesn’t love a KRISS, right?!So as I’m walking through I realized that there are several really good looking pistols that Sphinx is showing off.Sphinx, like KRISS and 2 other companies, are Swiss owned companies.

These are great looking guns. Very good reviews online. Prices seem to vary greatly $900-1,300. It's on my SSE list before the end of the year.

fantastic gun, I have a sphinx 2000 and an itm at84s and am looking forward to adding an sdp alpha full size and a compact kryptonite to my collection.

I shot a Compact a few weeks ago. It's a great gun, the slide works like butter, the trigger is amazing, good natural point of aim that comes with all the great pistols. If you can get one I'd say go for it. I'm waiting 10 round mags so my LGS can SSE one for me.

I'd love to get one...but the avg $1100 price tag makes me think twice...

Same here on the mags. With the full size I have dozens of 19roinders. Only a few 15ers for the compact

I initially thought that too. But given how much a SP01 Tact costs and the subsequent costs for trigger work the Sphinx isn't too bad especially considering the material it's made from.

You pretty much get a custom level gun from the factory.

I think it's a good deal. Each to their own though.

FWIW, I think the Sphinx shoots better than my CZ 75 SAO with competition hammer and flat trigger.

Had a chance to play with a compact a few weeks ago. If I didn't already have a cgw modified P01 I'd be getting a sphinx

I haven't played with an sdp yet but my other sphinx guns are amazing. Still on the quest for a 3000

Schmecky gives it high regards, calling it the "Rolex of CZs"
