      Local range I go to doesn't allow Wolf ammo.

        Man, I just tried buying some ammo at Wal Mart on the way home from work. Why didn't I know you couldn't buy ammo past 9. Well, I guess that's because I never tried. Oh well. They had a bunch of 9mm WWB value packs left but only one box of 45. I'm going to pass by on the way to work. If it's gone by the time I get there, I'm going to hunt down whoever from this forum bought it...

              To put it in simple terms, comparable to those which you have used:

              walmart = globalization & the race to the bottom
              unions = featherbedding

              I've visited 3rd world countries that are now the victim of outsourcing (to china). The $1.25/hr wage is too high, when you can get prison labor in china for $0.10/hr. That my friend is unrestrained capitalism @ its finest.

                Reguardless of arguments, Wal Mart is a convenient place to get range ammo when I need and can afford it. If that oppertunity isn't there, it'll suck for me and my wallet. So I guess I support Wal Mart in that factor.

                  As a college student with an expensive alcohol, motorcycle and firearm hobby (not in that order), I appreciate Walmart selling me cheap stuff.

                      I have the same hobbies too and have had long before I was in college.

                      The motorcycle hobby isn't too expensive for me (except tires). I bought my latest bike 90' Yamaha FZR 1000 back in 92. It's showing it's age and the suspension is sagging, but it's like an old friend.

                      Now firearms which used to be an expensive hobby, for me has been thru the roof lately.

                      Alcohol is cheap as I don't go to bars anymore and usually only drink on weekends (except when on vacation).

                        You just outlined the perfect day...

                        Ride your motorcycle to the mountains, bring a couple of firearms, stop somewhere secluded an shoot for awhile. After shooting enjoy the ride back and have a few beers.

                        Perfect day.

                          WWB 100 count is $10.97
                          Blazer and Brass is cheap and better than WWB. The Blazer is around $4.?? per box.
                          That's their 50-round 9mm JHP when purchased in bulk. The 100-round FMJ value pack is $13.89.

                              You don't need a licence. It's like selling cigarettes. Just verify age and you're good.

                                I tie down my 4-pistol case on the passenger seat of the bike, ride out to the range, shoot, stop by Plainfield Station for lunch on the way back, then go home, have a beer while cleaning the guns Gotta love it
