I found this Smith M19-2 at a LGS today. Being the sucker for pinned and recessed Smiths that I am, I just had to take it home with me. According to the fellow that brought it in to sell on consignment, he bought it new, shot six rounds through it and then put it away for the next 38 years. Somewhere along the way it acquired this rather nice set of target stocks. Unfortunately the originals are long gone

Serial number dates it as being made in late 1967 and likely shipped sometime in 1968. It came with the original box, cleaning kit, sight adjusting tool and owners manual.

Beautiful model 19. Those grips are not original. Replace them with correct factory grips and you have a keeper.

I just had my 2-1/2 Model 66 at the range today. K-frames are great guns.
