I love them ! I have 2 a 5" and a 3". I did crack the slide on one but I only shot high volacity (not recommended) and it still took like 5,000-8,000 rds to do this and they warranted it . So I say go for it its only 100-200 bucks

Phoenix arms 22

I had one, and sold it. No complaints, just didn't shoot it much. I didn't have any cracking problems, but I didn't put mine through much punishment either. One thing that sticks out in my mind though was the weight. Heavy little sucker. Felt like it weighed about the same as an unloaded Glock19.Comment

At 89 vision, I know right? It is pretty heavy for a tiny little thing. I get it out of jail next Tuesday.
How do you like your Glock 19? U have the Glock 22 and thinking about the 19 or 17 as my next glock but can't really decide on which model. It'll be for my wife as well and she shots my 22 pretty good but the recoil is a little snappy (I think) for her. I'm pretty sure she'll do better with follow up shots with a 9mm.Comment

So.....have you had a chance to shoot it yet?
I also bought one after seeing the sales ad at Turners and picked it up on Tuesday, Turners also had the 5" barrel kit (nickel barrel and a spare magazine) for $40 so I got one of those as well. I'm hoping to get it to the range sometime this weekend. Future plans include making some wooden grips for it and I may take the buffing wheel to it to make it shiny.

I've been so busy this week that I actually haven't even picked it up yet...planning on picking it up this weekend with my son who is just as excited as I am. I'm pretty sure he's going to ask to go the range. I was able to get a brick from Cabelas. Woot woot! I'll let you know how it goes if we end up going to the range.Comment

What a good dad... Sounds like a great gun, i want it in nickel also i think its sexy they also sell grips on ebay for it good choice raider. All the people suggesting other guns that's all nice and good but the other find are not 124 bucks. Bottom line awesome little bangerComment

Phoenix arms has a life time warranty. They also sell every part separately.
I have a new one, I have only shot about 200 rounds. Not one problem. The safety's
are for sure something different.
Great little gun and shoots straight and true. I would buy another if the price was right( to me).
I've read a lot of posts online hating the gun, but not much info other than the gun sucks, but not backed up.
Its sounds like someone saying I hate glock because its plastic, but they have never owned or shot one.
Enjoy the gun

I know right? so much hate on Glocks (I don't get it and don't really care) This is so funny because I have Glock pistols as well. As long as it goes bang...All is good with me.Comment

Thanks Rich! Can't beat it for the price. Someone will always say one type of gun is better than the next but as long as you like it... That's all that matters. What a good dad... All the reviews I've read people have liked it. Thanks for the advice on the grips. I'll check that out for sure.Comment

Please listen to all the advice given about the Hi Point .380 and the Phoenix HP22a because they are both pieces of junk. I have owned both. I am on my 2nd HP22a. Both have developed the dreaded frame crack. The second one was ONLY fed standard velocity CCI ammo and still developed the frame crack. The Hi-Point always seemed to have feeding issues. So, SAVE YOUR MONEY and get a Ruger or SW MP .22, otherwise you will regret throwing your money away on CHEAP (as in crappy quality) firearms.Originally posted by jessegpresleyGet a Ruger .22 or the M&P 22, the one you're looking at is a piece of junk and will only bring frustration.
I have since bought a Ruger Target pistol and a Glock 27 and couldn't be happier. How does the saying go? Buy cheap and spend twice...Comment

Ya its a cheap gun, but with a lifetime warranty who cares? Well I guess we all care at some point.
Look up any gun, pistol, rifle, they all have issues at some point.
I do agree with don't buy twice.
I'm going with personal experience with phoenix arms they take care of any issues. FREE!

Are you guys missing the op first comment he is taking his Son shooting with a brand new gun that shines bright silver and goes KaBang when you pull the trigger. His kid is leaning safty and shooting with his Pops. Priceless. I wish more dads including mine did this. To me this Raidernation guy is doing his part. I'm sure if the kid likes it, as he gets older and becomes a young man/man. Raider will give him his collection one day And so a tradition starts. I think he is doing the right thing.... My only advice is take lots of pictures, cuz they grow up fast. And the white grips on ebay might look kinda fresh. Let's go Oakland. Lifetime warranty! good point Sickbrad. Anyway enjoy hope to see you at united sportsman. Happy shooting all.Comment
