The grip compared to the XD40 was very similar and fit my meaty palm w/short fingers. Very natural grip. .
If you ever have a problem with your XD it's covered by a lifetime warranty. I've sent back SA products for repair and of course SA pays shipping both ways.

The rear rails are just extensions of the polymer frame. A little disturbing at first, but after ~1000 rounds through my XD-40, you really can't see any wear at all.

I also like the feel of the XD in the hands, BUT they don't have a 10mm auto chambering so that's holding me off from getting an XD besides a G20

              10mm. Because .45ACP just doesn't cut it anymore. <Trailerparktrash>

My collection of auto pistols is nearing the 30 mark and while I understand your requirement for a 10mm you should not let it keep you from shooting a truly amazing pistol. Rent one at your local shooting range. Try both the 9mm and the XD45ACP. Besides excellent shooters these pistols break down for cleaning instantly. If you aren't 100 hundred percent convinced the Springfield Amory XD series of auto pistols is the greatest thing since sliced bread, I'll swallow a live goldfish.

Me either! Gun shows are usally always over priced.
I walked around and everyone who had it said that it was their best seller. We been selling it at the marked price, yadda yadda yadda... we're only making 30 dollars even at this price.. yadda yadda yadda...
Then at the end of the day, i decided to go bargain with all of them.. so one of them budged and gave me a good deal.
