XD 45 acp...

I just think the XD (series as a whole) are really comfortable to handle and a blast to shoot. I just figure if I could have a handgun that comfortable in a larger caliber for what seems to be a really decent price, the XD-45 ACP feels like a good choice.

I am fairly new to the handgun world (bought my first handgun a few months ago), so my shooting experience may be limited compared to some of you OGs heh.

THats a great price...!!!!!!!! They must have gotten one heck of a deal on them. Some day I'll be able to buy in bulk.

I picked up the service model (4") at a shop in Sacramento, only one they had at $599. Yeah, I know steep but I was 130 miles from home at the time and the local shop in Redding was out of stock. Now I've learned the Redding shop has the entire XD series in stock (except for the 9mm sub compact) Price they want on the 4" is $589.

Markley's has one or two right now. I think the price is $565 but I'm not 100% sure.

i just called them and they said they never know what's going to be on sale until the day before. So unless the info was leaked by the CEO of turners, I don't think it can be confirmed.
