    Found a P7M8!

Found one, for $1150 - pretty good shape, has the markings on the side and around 1000 rounds though it. My friend who is an avid shooter found it for me, guy lives in Riverside! Don't know the date code should I buy it? It looks to be in real good condition cosmetically.

You'll be surprised what is on consignment in gun shops, some of them don't have bad prices. I usually look at gunbrokerdotcom and sometimes I find guns that are available for PPT. Here's a nice revolver that is in CA. I'm still waiting on the seller's reply. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...?Item=97354155

That's the only thing that $ucks, you have to wait for the reply and sometimes they don't.

Yes but that gun is not for sale in Ca. as per his listing. Now that s**ks.

That's a good find, check it out in person. Buy it, if you're satisfied. P7M8 is an awesome piece.

Already checked it out, so did my friend who shoots a lot, guy took great care of it. It only comes with 1 mag though. Comes with original plastic box, manual, the 2 tools, and even the shell casing from the factory. Is this a good price? I have seen them range from $900-$3500+. Last time I saw one on consignment it was going for $1600 I can go DROS it today or tomorrow if I get to thumbs up from you guys.

          P.S. Factory finish too.

Cool, I'll say Buy It! It's dropping from "the list" this year.
BTW, I have one, love it and I'm keeping it for life.

I need more encouragement! This is big bucks to me. This is a pretty good deal right? If you guys say the deal is good by my description I will go DROS it tomorrow.

If I recall you have to squeeze the grip with that thing right? If so its a cool pistol, id do it if I had the cash

I paid 1300 for my like new HKp7M8 with 4 magazines about two years ago. It's my favorite gun period.

                    1100.00 is a good price.

You've got time before this drops from the list - better deals to be had out there, i.e., lower round count, additional mag, wood grips, etc. Trust me. Keep looking.

Edit: Also check that date code! If the stamped slide warning doesn't bother you, pick up a newer model in the same price range. What bothers me personally is your description "pretty good shape." They don't manufacture these any longer and parts are getting harder to get. Make sure the copy you purchase is pristine!

that sounds fair if it's minty - the ones with the big warning label on the side are not as nice looking - the early guns seem to hold more value for that...

mine is a II date code, previous only had a few hundred rounds through it and looked new.

it's an awesome pistol, though UPS' are strangely more convenient.... in a fast food kind of way.

HKspecialist has new mags for $52.50.

It's really cool, and I got a chance to shoot one and I liked it a lot, P7 an 1911 are my favorite guns to shoot, only the P7 I shot was a PSP and got hot VERY fast. I was told by many people the P7M8 is much better, but it still gets pretty hot. I don't mind it.

I could care less about the warning B.S. - the guy who had it took real good care of it, I took the slide off and it looked brand new.

I don't like the USP too much (I assume you meant USP when you said UPS) rather buy a 1911. I am going to see if I can haggle him down to $1000. I will call him right now.

BTW: are those mags HK mags or does another company make them? I would only want new HK mags to put in such a fine pistol.

FYI: He said "Under 1000 rounds" and it does not have one single blemish on it at all, even when you take the slide off. He kept it well lubed and everything.

Just curious, why do they no longer make that model?
