congrats. I researched and researched and went to the range and liked everything with it and decided it would be my first gun. get to pick it up this Sunday.

Have had mine since March 2011. Has ran very well until recently. Hammer starting dropping back into DA mode while firing and had a few failure to feeds. Sent to Sig and they replaced the hammer box assembly and polished the feed ramp. When I got it back the hammer problem was fixed but I still had feeding problems, then I realized they weren't feeding problems. The slide was locking back with ammo in the magazine. After inspecting the top round I saw the ammo was contacting the slide lock lever and locking the slide back. I have filed down the lever a bit and will test it soon. It's just weird that this started after a year and a half. I just noticed all 3 of my mags fit loose, but I imagine they always have, just never paid attention because I never had any issues before.

Our range day almost didn't happen today. Went to our normal/local range-Livermore at 11:00 and they had a 1 1/2 hour wait for a lane!!! So, we drove down to Target Masters in Milpitas and fortunately, we got their last available lane. So, we put 250 rounds down range and had a great time doing it!!! We shot 115 grain Blazer Brass. Not a single issue! By the time we left, the place was absolutely crawling with people. I really didn't think there would be this big of a crowd on a Friday.

Got the gun home and stripped and cleaned it. Barrel could probably use another cleaning round. But, it's SO much easier to clean than my stainless 1911. Dirt & grime just doesn't show up as much.

Hopefully, we can find a gun range that will be open on New Years Day. I know Livermore is closed and Target Masters (not my first choice) will be open during regular hours.

Love it. Got it a few months ago no jams. I have the laser attached full time so I had to make a holster out of kydex. Couldn't find a holster that would fit the laser. I like the trigger squeeze and the night sights. My groups are tighter with it than my Beretta. I'll put pics up later with the kydex. Picked up a few extra mags from bullseye sport in riv.
