I personally don't own one but have a few friends who do in both 9mm and 40 cal.. They all love it. Only downside is the price of the extra mags.

I had a broken extractor issue on my .40 S&W SP2022. It was loose so I would experience failure to eject and stovepipes. Sig repaired it free of charge and paid for shipping both ways.

I have mine 2022 9mm for about 3 and half years. I am not sure how many rounds, probably 3-4K. Not a single problem. The only difference between mine and currents on offer, mine is made in Germany. I compare with current production runs and it is quite bit difference. Fit and finish is definitely different. Also notch on the slide for hold open is half way to compare newer made in USA.
BTW, 40/357 sig magazines work on 9mm with no problem. They used to be $14.99 at CDNN, but their web site is down now with whole frenzy sh..t

I was told this by several people, after confirming my Glock mags fed 9mm just fine I ordered a couple .40 SP2022 mags. Neither mag would follow with 9mm in them. I tried many times but the follower jept jamming on me and would not feed so I unloaded them. YMMV

I got one in 9mm a couple weeks ago. I've only put about 100 rounds through it and like it so far. I think I like my M&P a little better, but the 2022 is nice.

I might need to try that. I can only find .40 mags around here, and need some CA mags because I bought mine out of state with "hi cap" 15 round mags. There are plenty of .40 mags locally.

I have 2 .40 mags that fire 9's flawlessly, purchased from the marketplace here.

No problems with mine, either. Great value for a Sig!

I guess with all the frenzy buying people are grabbin um up. Went to three gunstores, two were out of 2022's where last week they had multiples, and the third was close to a 45 min wait to see anything because how many people there were. Might get up early tomorrow and go try again.

I think they had a big promotion on them a couple weeks ago. I got mine with an extra magazine (3 total) and a laser sight for $399 +tax. I've read of others getting them for $450 for the same package, so they probably sold a lot of them then.

I bought one- 9mm, night sights and I think its the new model made in Germany with the internal extractor. Anyways, great pistol for the long haul. No problems here with this one.

Also, Nutnfancy did a good video on them-

                              Was about $44.

I bought this one for $9.99, reheated (heatgun) the bottom side where the rail made contact with the holster, slide gun in reshape and now it fits perfect.
