Mine isn't my favorite handgun, but it feels good in my hand, and you can't go wrong with the price.Comment

Fired a rental and it was nearly as good as my old 226. Great gun for the money, or any price really.Comment

Picking mine up after work today. Going to field strip, clean and lube tonight. Then, tomorrow, we hit the range! Can't wait!!!Les Baer 1911: Premier II w/1.5" Guarantee, Blued, No FCS, Combat Rear, F/O Front, Checkered MSH & SA Professional Double Diamond Grips

I've had my .40 SW for about six months. Not a problem shooting any ammo through it. Smooth and easy to hold. I bought four extra mags from a seller on Calguns for $15 each, NIB, shipping included. I don't know if he is still selling them or not.Comment

I never had a single issue with mine. I loved it. Fit like a glove as well.
I'm selling mine with extra mags, laser and holster if you're interested.
Definitely won't be disappointed with a 2022.CLXXIV

Having shot the rental P2022 at Reeds (Santa Clara) I was about to just put down the money but the single mag was an issue. I rented the M&P 9 and with 1 extra magazine for free (3 total), I decided to pay the $559 price over the P2022.
As I posted before, the "rental" comparison, fair or not, revealed the P2022 stood up to rental abuse, while the M&P did stove top 2x with the boxed Blazer 115gr ammo. I normally only shoot 124gr so taking into consideration everything, before hearing about using .40 magazines TODAY, I sort of question my decision but it's ok. I got a late Xmas present from my employer the same day I was going to Reeds: $100 AMEX gift card!
Had I waited until today, I "think" I would have purchased the P2022 after this post. But that's blood under the bridge.
BTW: if you can't find one, call Reeds and see if they still have the last one @ $399.95.Beretta 92FS | SA 1911 Loaded | S&W M&P15-22 | TC .44 Bull Barrel | Colt LE6920CMP-B | S&W 627-5 PC | S&W M&P 9 | Mossberg 500 | Rem 700 VSF | Benelli Montefeltro 12GA | CZ455 Varmint HB | Ruger 10/22 50th Anniv. | SigSauer P220 CombatComment

Just put in about 80 rounds a few hours ago. LOVED IT! Bought it on CGN's and performed flawlessly.
Can't wait to shoot it again. My buddy whom is a pretty experienced shooter had a smile on his face after shooting it.
Will say it is loud and does have a decent kick for a 9mm, which is to be expected from a polymer frame.Comment

wow glad i have one in lock up right now for being a cheap pistol i have not heard one repetitive problem with it!Comment

A sig 2022 is nothing but a glock or XD with an excellent trigger job, better looks, a decocker, grip angle, stainless slide, better sights and better fit on parts...all for less than a glock or XD. Why would you want something like that?
I own 2 - 226's and now 2- 2022's. I wish I had just bought the 2022's. They are almost the same gun...a little more creep on the trigger, but also a little less weight.
all for $389.00 at rifle gear...its really not a tough decision.I love America for the rights and freedoms we used to have.Comment

Just got mine (o.k., the wife's-but she lets me play with it too) last night. Field stripped it, cleaned it and lubed. Didn't like the TW25 that came with the gun though. A little too gooey. Maybe I put too much on. Sticking with regular oil right now.
We both liked the larger grip on it. The only concern I have is that when racking the slide on either an empty or full magazine, the slide feels like it's catching on something. Almost like it's locked??? Weird. But, if I drop the mag or if I twist the slide just a bit, it will cycle, although it still feels like it's catching on something just a bit. Not sure what that is though.
Headed to the range today after breakfast to break it in. Yup, I've got the day off!!!
Will report back afterwards.Les Baer 1911: Premier II w/1.5" Guarantee, Blued, No FCS, Combat Rear, F/O Front, Checkered MSH & SA Professional Double Diamond Grips
