Discovered I Like Glocks!

As many of you know, I posted a pretty controversial thread about my dissatisfaction with my new CZ 75 BD.

The more a hold/manipulate it, some of the issues have disappeared.

Well, yesterday I strolled into my LGS and decided to really give a good look at the Glocks because I posted my CZ with 100 rounds through it for sale or trade. ($550 or trade)

All my previous issues with Glocks have been:
UGLY
Grip feel
Grip Angle

After handling the 22 and 21sf, I found that they point really straight for me as well regardless of the difference in grip from the CZ and Sig I own.

Grip feel was not my favorite, that belongs to XD, CZ, and Rugar SR series, but adequate.

I know some hate them, but I actually like the factory sights. They center very quickly for me.

I'm very surprised by my findings. If my CZ doesn't sell/trade, a Glock will be my next purchase. Either a 21sf or 22 with a 9mm conversion barrel.

I like the cheap cost of parts and accessories.

This is not a CZs are bad Glocks are good thread. Both are excellent quality pistols with many differences in function, but many similarities in use, quality, and fan loyalty.

Just wanted to make a few observations. It is not appropriate to compare these to each other - apples and oranges.

I too hated Glocks and their fan clubs untile I purchased every polymer frame pistol only to recycle them for the holy grail of side arms, the G23C. The trigger is terible and the sights suck from the factory.I found out about the Ghost Ink Rocket connectors and Heine sights, I never thaught I would profess my love for a Glock, I love you Glock! Thumb safetys are over rated, there I said it...

MusicMatt -- I hate to be critical, but this appears to be another thread where you have decided you like and want a gun without having fired it. If a gun doesn't feel good while shooting and work well for you while shooting, you aren't going to like it no matter how cool you think it looks or how comfortable it is in your hand or how it lines up with the sights etc etc etc etc etc. Shoot the thing first. Holding it in a store isn't the same. You do not like the Glock. You think you might like the Glock.

I'm going to the range in Vacaville today to shoot my collection and rent a couple Glocks. I've shot the 17 and 19 before. You have no idea what I have and have not fired. If you don't like my threads, there are plenty of others to post on.
