I have yet to find any S&W trigger that was good out of the box.

I've never found any gun with what I would call a "good trigger" out of the box. I used to think S&W triggers were pretty good until I learned how to fix them.

My Python trigger needed no work.

My 627 begs to differ, but I guess it is a Performance Center piece. Even so, I've handled plenty of other S&Ws that had great triggers that didn't have work done to them.
