Probably explains why she is the "EX"

"Moms Demand Action" sounds less like a gun control group and more like the title of a porn flick from the mid-90s.

                  I've got three - $410 total invested.

                  +Another $45 on extra mags -

Cheap enough to leave in the Jeep and saddlebags and not worry about them geting banged up or stolen -

They eat the cheap ammo and are accurate enough to get the job done.

If it FTF or isnt accurate - You are the problem.

                  Not the sidearm.

I'll continue to buy every single one I find for less than $100/$125 -

Where else are you going to arm 6 friends for less than $900 -

                  Unless they are Mosins........

So I'm not the only one!

My wife swears my RIA Tactical is "the best gun we own."

I'm trying to parlay that into getting a Ruger SR1911 for me & passing the RIA on to her.

i own a c9 my self. and it has been very reliable. yes it looks ugly and very heavy but never has it failed. it eats anything i feed it. and i like the gost ring sight that it comes with.

                      check this review.

There are circumstances, often financial sometimes environmental, when having an expensive gun isn’t possible, or may not be the best choice. For those instances, Hi Point offers a value-priced—no, a low-priced–line of American-made handguns that prove time and again that—almost no matter what–they can be counted on to work when you need them. That’s exactly what the company’s owners set out to do—provide a safe, reliable handgun that practically anyone can afford. So what can you expect for about $150 bucks?

Interestingly enough, there was a guy in a K-9 shirt at a class I was in... it was in the beginning of June. The guy in the K-9 shirt had 2 HiPoints, a 9mm and a .380

This guy had a multitude of failures with both guns during the entire class. Mostly double feeds, but I would estimate the malfunctions averaged about 1 in every 2 mags.

                        NorCal-K9, were you that guy?

Just pony up and get her a g19.

I'm not a big fan of Glocks, but I do feel they are so popular and affordable, everyone should own one.

We will be buying one sometime this year. Either a 19 or a 26 depending on what the wife likes.

i own one, im not poor, its a great value for a gun, which i think its ridiculous how some companies can get away with charging so much for plastic LOL, ive owned 3 glocks and i can shoot my hipoint 10x better than any of them PERIOD no excuses no caveats flat out better, got my hipoint used for $80 with 2 magazines, so far so good

i guess u just have to be a bit open minded to really appreciate it.

limpwristing is a NON issue as almost any semi auto handgun will fail if it was shot limpwristed

weight, unless u CCW then who cares

sights, there is 1 company that makes great aftermarket sights if the factory 3dot or Ghostring isnt up to your standards, i find both facotry sights more than adequate

trigger, has had mixed reviews i think im lucky and got a decent one

as far as the gf, well if she cant appreciate your effort of At least getting her a firearm then u need to re-evaluate your situation and get a new one LOL
About 600 rounds though mine, goes bang every time!! NO FTF,FTE, accurate as heck!! I bought it just to see what all the neg was about. Most that complain don't own one. JMHO
