I'm thinking about joining the speed walk this week. Never done it before. So after we line up at the front of the store does our position in line remain the same after we get to the counter? Or is it a race once the doors open?

If it's just us regulars, then we can be adults about it. Sometimes, you get some new dickhead that wants to break out in a run and cut in line.
Just be all... "So what order are we going in?" and get self-organized.

Years ago when I lined up at Walmart, everybody started sprinting as soon as the doors opened. It looked like Black Friday even though it was only July.

Went there last Saturday around 9:30 am and the case was full of a variety. I was the only one there shoping so no line. Also, Milpitas target masters west usually has what I'm looking for but I'm only looking for handgun ammo and 22lr.

They still sell ammo. The only thing is that you have to be lined up by 6:15am for the 7am opening to even have a decent shot at the ammo selection. Dont forget your running shoes.
