I support the NRA, if you are not in, you can't win.

Thats a good point. Was slightly (not nervous) being careful and was concentrating more on what I was seeing/doing.
My roommate shoots also, so no worry about frightening him. I called his GF today and told her a quick call would be better, she did not see the gun but I told her I was armed when I seen her.I support the NRA, if you are not in, you can't win.

Yes, Condition 1, it is a Springfield XD .40, round chambered. This is exactly what my wife would say. I'd have to agree with "OutlawStar". You're always going to be on the loosing side of the argument.
Although...were your carrying in condition 1? Because if you think about it...if you're going to get grief, your HD gun might as well be in a ready state for it to be worth it.I support the NRA, if you are not in, you can't win.

My girlfriend.... your girlfriend? or his girlfriend?
I agree - if you were going to go clear - I would have shouted out "WHO'S THERE!" with shotty in hand. I'm going to guess you're a safe person, but what if she was in her room and as you passed by the door quickly opened it, startling you?
But of course, method of clearing a house is widely debated.
Will incorporate some verbal in to my planI support the NRA, if you are not in, you can't win.

I would do the same.
You never know. The one time you decided not to bring your HD and check you might end up on the wrong side of things. Those things only need to happen once for you to end up hurt or dead.Comment

Yeah, I met her for lunch and we talked it through and I showed her the responses here. Shes good now and wants to do some training in case she needs to defend the home, not sure if that is a good or bad thing (joking).I support the NRA, if you are not in, you can't win.
