    Walmart Ammo

I was in Walmart today and though I'd take a few prices down on some 45 acp ammunition:
Remingotn UMC FMJ 45 acp (250 rounds) $96.97
    Remington JHP 230gr (100 rounds) $42.97
    Winchester FMJ 45 acp 230gr (100 rounds) $35.96
    Winchester JHP 45 acp 230gr (50 rounds) $32.97
    Winchester PDX1 45 acp 230gr (20 rounds) $23.97
    Federal FMJ 45 acp 230gr (50 rounds) $17.47

38.8 cents per round on the Remington UMC 250-rd pack seems like a good deal?

The federal fmj is always the cheapest/round regardless of caliber.

The Federal is cheaper at 35 cents per round. If you can buy in bulk then Jack Ross sells 1000 for $319 shipped (32 cents ea.) or 500 for $175 which would save you the tax compared to the federal from Walmart.

Yea, but you have to factor in shipping. Sometimes mail order can be cheaper, but Walmart prices are pretty hard to beat. I go Federal 100 rounders and the "AR-15" American Eagle when I can find it.

Agreed but Jack Ross ships free to CA if you buy 500 or 1000 rounds.

I put 200 rounds of the factory .45 through my new SIG 1911 yesterday and had zero issues. I'm not an experienced shooter but when my buddy shot a few mags he was getting some really impressive groupings with it. If the price stays the same and shipping remains free, I'm ordering a lot more.

I'd buy from bulletman_911. It's less than 30c/rd and shoots cleaner than WWB all day.

The 9mm Federal FMJ 115gr bulk 100 packs are $19 and change...best deal around without going mail order for 1k round cases
