Glock 19 or XD9 Sub Compact?

I have a G19 and a G26 and love them both. I dont go anywhere without my 26.

Like others have said, it pretty much depends on which one feels/shoots best for you. Im a Glock guy but XDs are also nice pistols.

I have a G19 and a G23....Glock all the way. I have an XD40 as well and it feels like a turd compared to my Glock

i had the XD SC and it always shot lower left for me. I bought the Glock to replace it and love it. I have never had the low left issue before and own many handguns, including XDMs. The low left issue seems to be an issue with XD's per the XD forum. Make sure you shoot it before you buy it. Also, the XD trigger is not great buy any means.

Typically in a store I see Glocks selling for about $100 more than a comparable XD. Not to mention the fact that Springfield was giving you 3 mags for free when you bought one new.

Funny how many glock fanbois are checking in with their typical GLOCK FTMFW type responses with absolutely no reasons for why they think the glock is better in their opinion. Not saying that it is or isnt, just that I'm not surprised by the typical glock fanboyism.

- Tried and true platform, they invented the DA only polymer pistol.
- More Glock owners by far than any other gun in its class.
- Its the most popular choice amongst LE.
- Designed as a fighting pistol.
- More accessories available than any other gun on the market.
- Unbelievable reliability.
- Incredibly fast and simple to field strip.
- Very little maintenance needed.
- Available in many calibers and frame sizes.
- Very reasonably priced (I got my 19 for $510).
- Extremely durable.
- Good trigger, short reset.
- Great customer service.

Im sure I left a few out but those are the points that jumped to mind in a couple minutes. Other Glock "fanboys" feel free to add to the list.

get whatever fits you better, if theyre both the same in your mind, then get the one with more mags, accessories, etc.

- Unbelievable reliability. All my guns are unbelievably reliable
- Incredibly fast and simple to field strip. So is my M9, XD, USP and 1911....
- Very little maintenance needed.
- Available in many calibers and frame sizes. So is the XD, M&P, HK
- Very reasonably priced (I got my 19 for $510).
- Extremely durable.
- Good trigger, short reset. I have to disagree!
- Great customer service.

Id rather be called a "fanboy" for owning an awesome pistol, than choose some other gun just because I dont want to be considered a "fanboy."
