Glock 19 or XD9 Sub Compact?

The Glock is 425 BNIB and the XD9 is 469 BNIB, I have an LC9 and an LCP, XD45 service and a Springer Loaded Park'd 5".
Do I go for Glock? Or stick with Springfield?

I learned recently to stop letting price be the deciding factor in a firearms purchase. Have you rented and shot both? It really comes down to personal preference and what feels good in your hand. I went with an XD because I didn't like how the Glock felt in my hand. I liked the stock sights on the Glock more, but I like the ambidextrous mag release on the XD. Both have good points to them

I bought the XD cause it was on sale. I really didn't want or need one. Now that I have shot it, I love my my XD9 SC! I have shot many Glocks and they do not feel right in my hand. I am quite impressed with the XD. So much that it will be a CCW pistol.

Whatever feels the best In your hands and feel confident putting lead downrange when the SHTF.

I had a similar dilemma and went with the G19. Easy to conceal and when I'm outside of Cali I have 15 rounds available to me. Haven't looked back since. Love my Glock.

I've owned both and honestly you can't go wrong either way. Try out both and pick the one that you shoot better.

The XD9 sub is more of a direct comparison to the Glock 26. The 19 is much larger than the XDsub. Personally I've never cared for the XDsub. Feels to brick like and blocky to me. I prefer the slightly smaller and rail-less G26. But even that is so thick for a little gun. Since you already have the LC9 I'd step it up a little bit and get the medium sized G19.

If you had another XD in 9mm (compact or competition), then I'd say go with the XD9 so you can interchange mags.

However since you're going with a different caliber, get whatever works and feels better for you.

Glock 19. I absolutely hate the fact that the XD's grip safety has to be pushed down in order to retract the slide.

I have an XD9SC I love it and carry it every day but with that being said try the Glock out and if it feels good get it. My next pistol will be a 40 cal Glock.
