Glock is a great handgun if you are not gonna expand and get more.

Not that many cons, except for the crappy triggers.

    Pros:
    Light
    Durable
    Reliable
    Fun to shoot
    Easy to clean
    Easy to maintain
Not picky with ammo except Russian steel crap
    many upgrades

I had gen4, had bad luck with and sold it. I might buy another in the future, but I need to feed my hunger for SA/DA handguns

Is she the same chick from that episode with Lee Ermey's Locked'N'Loaded where she was just tearing it up with a Glock 18?

          She hot.

I guess that I'm one of the few people that doesn't mind the stock trigger. I know where it is going to break every time and the reset isn't bad. It's a lightweight pistol that accommodates a thumbs forward pistol grip very well. Simple to operate, not picky with ammo, lightweight, accurate, easy to clean and maintain. Obviously no pistol is without some drawbacks, but for it to be such a popular platform across the world indicates that it is an excellent performer.

              Pros:

              Lightweight
              Durable
Combat accurate (that is, they're not a bullseye competition pistol, but they'll do the job)
Large magazine capacity (if you have/can legally obtain standard capacity mags)

              Cons:

Trigger takes time to learn and is difficult to improve while retaining internal safeties
              Grip shape doesn't fit everyone
Use of soft lead bullets in stock barrel can lead to overpressure and damage (as in "kaboom"/KB)
The Gen 4 pistols have exhibited problems involving recoil spring assemblies (there is a retrofit to use the Gen 3 assemblies)

And, yes, it's a lot like the AK/AR thing. There's haters on both sides. I just laugh and go on with business since I own both Glocks and 1911s, Paras and Rugers and none of them have blown up in my hands yet. Find one to shoot, see if it fits you. Then buy it if you like it, pass on it if you don't.

Wow. I have had nothing but problems with my Gen 3 G17. Too many type 3 malfunctions to count. Tried different ammo and different shooters. Have not had one with either my XD45 or my Kimber 1911.

I was going to send it back to Glock for repair but when I went to their site, it says owner is responsible for shipping and Fed Ex wanted $115 to send it.

Took it to a Glock armorer who could see nothing wrong with it. he agrees that Glock should handle the shipping.

Perhaps if I contact them directly, they will send a shipping tag?? Does anyone have any experience sending them back to Glock

Yup, she's the one who showed the Gunny what's what. She doesn't shoot for Glock anymore, though.

It's a matter of personal preference. I think they are good and reliable guns and will go bang all the time. However for me I just can't get use to the grip angle so I went with an XD instead.

I don't think she's shooting Glock anymore. Didn't she part ways with them a year or so ago?
