I'm glad it turned out well for you (and your Glock). I'm glad no one got hurt.

My truck was broken into and a lot of CD's were taken. Everyone of them was marked. When the police arrested the crew they started building a case and found my report (it was a year later). I got most of my property back because I marked everything thing. My detective buddy had never herd of such "nonsense." So documentation, records, and a police report is never a bad thing.

I lived in a crappy little crackhead town about 5 yrs ago baypoint and I believe a crackhead tried breaking in my house broke one of the small windows in my bach door but that there dog in my profile pic chewed that arm so good there was blood splatter from the roof all the way into the living room, I dont know how he ended up getting his arm out but I doubt he'll ever stick that arm in a little widow again! And sherrifs were a little bit nicer to me when they came out one of the deputies ended up buying one of our dogs for his home/famile

Well update, seems like the state of CA wants me to feel victimized again. It's time I can recover my pistol it seems. Well before I can get my hands back on my pistol. I need to fill out a CA DOJ firearms release form, along with my police report so I get the fee waiver of $20. Then mail it to sacramento, then wait for a certification saying I am the legal owner, and that the pistol was stolen, then bring it to the property section at the police station then get the pistol back in my hands. This kind of liberal B.S pisses me off!

It is BS. I had to go through that for a pistol I voluntarily turned over to the officer on scene of my motorcycle accident. They wouldn't send to my local gun store, or PD, so I had to make the 4 hour drive down there (painfully crippled, mind you) so that I could retrieve my gun WITHOUT any of the $30+ worth of defensive ammo. They "threw it out." Claimed they won't return a pistol with ammo in case some irate civilian decided to turn his gun on a room full of guys with guns.
