if all glocks are glicks and glicks are bricks and bricks are blocks, then all glocks are blocks?

xd vs. glock

If Glock could make an ACP in a smaller grip like the XD, it may be a different story, but in ACP, I'll take my XD. After a trip to Springfield Custom, it's a great shooter and a great feeling gun in my hands...
For the smaller calibers though....I like the Glocks...Comment

I think 21SF isn't bad as far as grip size.Comment

yeah some of the XDs rusted easy ( earlier models without the newer finish) if someone has a problem with it you can send it to springfied andthey will refinish every metal part on the pistol for free, and pay for the shipping both ways.
i like my 3 XDs more than any glock that i have ever shot, feel better, shoot better, look better, and they have better customer service.Comment

I like both because I like having more guns. Right now I only have a G36 and an XD40. Used to have an XD9SC.
If I were to choose one, I'd probably go with Glock (G19 or G23) because I like the simplicity of style and function but both were accurate for me and both have been reliable.Comment

i like my xd... but this thread is kinda useless... kinda like is the big mac or whopper better? and everyone knows it's the big mac...

G17,21,26
XD9,45
XD9 fits smaller hands better than G17
IMO everything shoots really well!

GLOCK (Gen 1-5, G42/43), Colt AR15/M16/M4, Sig P320, Sig P365, Beretta 90 series, Remington 870, HK UMP Factory Armorer
Remington Nylon, 1911, HK, Ruger, Hudson H9 Armorer, just for fun!
I instruct it if you shoot it.Comment

you cant compare a big mac to a whopper. maybe a quarter pounder to a whopper, but not a big mac. it's got that funky extra layer of bread. go quarter pounder.Comment

Glock inspects your pistol and replaces worn parts for FREE.
Glock is used by more military and police units around the world, more than any other handgun ever made.
Glock runs lubricated or not, functions well in any climate conditions, and they run when absolutely filthy.
Glock parts are interchangeable with other Glocks, no handfitting required.
Glock is "user friendly," and can be detail stripped by about anyone - no gunsmith or special armorer required.
Glock can be stored under water for over a month, dried, then oiled, and you wouldn't know it for the wear.
Glock has no uneccessary secondary safety switches or decocking levers.
Glock is used by more civilian, LEO, and military firearm instructors and schools than any other firearm.
Delta Force's most renowned and respected instructor in the history of the unit both uses and advocates Glock as his weapon of choice ("unless you are a 1911 certified gunsmith")

Don't have any XD's, but I do have S&W, Rugers, Glocks, and Taurus (Tauri?) and I like them all. Otherwise I wouldn't have bought them in the first place.
This is like my kid is insert choice here (better, smarter, better looking, faster, stronger....etc.) than yours!Comment
