most useless round?

Most of you are listing cartridges you obviously don't shoot and so aren't real familiar with them. I shoot and often carry the .45GAP, .357SIG, .41AE, (and anything else .41 caliber, esp. .41Magnum). I know people that hunt Mnt. lion andjavelina with .22Mag. handguns and don't have a problem killing their prey. I say try a caliber before you condemn it.

I say 10mm or .22 short.

I would have to say the 40 S&W is more "worthless" than a 10mm.

.32 S&W. President William McKinley was assassinated with this round in 1901, taking two shots at point blank range from an Iver Johnson revolver.

One round went through, but the other lodged in his spine after damaging several organs. President McKinley died a week later due to complications resulting from infection.

The .32 S&W seems to be better suited for maiming rather than killing. I would say that would rank it among the useless. Black powder load, 85 grain bullet at 705 FPS. "Modern" smokeless, is a 88 LRN at 680 FPS.

A. The one that doesn't do it's job.

B. .25 ACP. Bested in every aspect by .22 LR, except the fact it's a centerfire.

C. .41 AE. A round that failed to reach commercial success, or even a solid fanbase backing like 10mm does. .41 is the same ballistically as .40 S&W basically, except no one's heard of it.

Just a question why would .40 be a useless round? Im thinking of getting a 40 cal handgun so I would like to hear some opinions. BTW Im sorry, I didn't know there was a general discussions :-( Moderator will move if necessary.
