I've read from several reliable sources that slow olympic style shooting for accuracy does not translate well to combat style shooting. You must ideally practice both.

I was taught to fire 'controlled pairs' as well instead of double tapping. Accuracy is much better for the second shot (look for the front sight before firing), and it is not that much slower than a quick-jerk double tap.

Whats that got to do with
DENYING shooters the chance to practice rapid fire? That's right, nothing.

I hate um and their enforcement of the 3 second rule. Their rangemasters and counter clerks are the worst I have ever seen.

If that was my handgun that they finger f-cked. I would have walked aross the parking lot to the Police department and requested that the weapon needed to be ballistic fingerprinted. The idiots in that place for all you know could have performed a friggin "hit" with that thing. Call me paranoid if ya want, but thats just me.

I will never go in TM again.

One of the guys in my group didn't quite understand how one uses red dot scopes, and thought you had to line the red dot up with the front sights. On an SKS.

His very first SKS round ever, shot down the string that moves the target back and forth.

Reminds me of the guy next to me on the line during my college AJ course pistol quals. His rounds struck the ground in front of the target -- which was only 7 yards in front of him. He had a better chance of hitting the target spitting that using his 38 spl.

Laguna Seca in Monterey use to allow rapid fire until a bunch of target stands were destroyed. I don't like the 1-3 seconds rules but there are alot of dummies on the line, so I agree there has to be boundries in place.

                    Interesting experience 2/08/2006

I was at Target Masters on 2/08 - I was shooting with a few others in bays 7 to 12. We all stopped when we heard this guys' gun go full auto. Scarred me a bit. He put the gun down for awhile. I was waiting for dreadlock man, old dude or the black haired guy to come running in and decalre marshall law, but NO.....no one even blinked out front. The older lady hanging up new targets on the wall in the main show room was not even phased.

A little later the gun did the same thing in a different lane. Still no reaction from the salespeople.

I went out a little later, they said Bill? was off that day, no one seemed to care about anything.

If you go to TM, check out the new roof in bays 7 to 12 - check out the streak of holes in a row this guy put in the new plywood roof.

But for 1/2 price to shoot for an hour or so during happy hour. I will still go and kill bad guy paper targets.

                      Used??

THE WORST PART WAS i found the lock to be CUT off and the GUN USED!

Used? By who? Was it used in a crime, and it's now registered to you? Very worrisome...

If any crime was traced to the gun, and it happened when it was in TM's possesion, then I think he would automatically be out of the loop.

If you took possession of this gun, you really screwed up.
