I'll let my fellow texan zfields handle yall. But one more time California and 85% of the people in it can go to hell. They move out of cali into other states and bring there bs with them. We will see who has the last laugh when everything (that didn't ALREADY move to Texas finds a new home) all those jobs lost in san Jose made a texan happy and employed. Live in your frap state and PLEASE STAY HERE. That's why I stay with a cali flag upside down on my car all day.

Okay, I don't like the fear of guns culture in California either, but if a half dozen people are advocating not to move to the state, why do you live here? Supposedly in Real America the adage was love it or leave it.

Move to another state that isn't being Californiaicated (WA, OR, CO, NV, AZ) and you'll quickly realize why California is the most populous state (and as a result why everything is so expensive). Texas for example might have more permissive gun laws, but most of the land is worthless, they have budget issues (just no drama about what to cut), taxes aren't actually that low (and they aren't that high in California either), and cost of living is pretty much get what you pay for. So yea, love it or leave it.

Have not seen anyone mention this but you might thinking of stocking up on things that you might want here that are legal to own but not available to buy.... If you bring in AR lowers you can register them as pistol receivers.... I believe 1911 bare frames are also an inexpensive but unavailable item, off roster pistols like your xDM, why not bring a back up (I might just no someone who would buy it from you if you get here and decide you don't really need two).... Anyway, when I moved my only regret was not bringing more guns with me.... I had my chance, blew it....

We don't need flags to show pride (unless you're in the Castro). That kind of stuff is for people who always come in second place, otherwise no one would know they existed.
