It was tough to find, but from what I understand (and anyone please correct me if I'm wrong) Every 8-12 months Springfield releases a small batch of the full rail TRPs and for a very brief period they become available, however many of them are spoken for, as many customers placed a deposit well in advance. Best thing to do is to put your name on the list at your local shop and wait. You might even get lucky and have someone back out Of the deal at which point the firearm is on a first come first we've basis. I just got lucky!But wait...how can this be? Just saying they are not as "rare" as some aroud here seem to want to think they are...
They are built in batches but getting one is by no means a "once a year" thing.
If I wanted to buy 10 of them it would take me a little over ten months....
Due to the 30 day wait in CA, not becuase they cannnot be gotten.
