I have a Nighthawk GRP Recon. I bit the bullet and bought one. It was a big step for a Glock fan boy such as myself, but it is one heck of a shooter! The Surefire X300 fits like a dream. It's pricier than a TRP, but in my opinion, it's well worth it. Either way, you won't go wrong. Good luck in your search.Comment

If you can find a TRP operator in stock, the dealer at minimum is going to ask $1599-$1699. Tack on tax and the Dros fee and your right at or above $1800. Dealers cost on one of those is around $1450-$1500 depending on which distributor has it, so much money is to be made. If you find it on gunbroker, most dealers are going to charge $50-$100 to receive the gun and are now required to charge sales tax.
I'm only able to order a few per year and they take a while to arrive(friends with a FFL) I've had 6 Springfield pro's on order for myself since Dec of 2009 and have only received one back in may!
So, $1800 may seem crazy, but how much time are you willing to wait? FFL's know which guns are hot ticket items, so the markup might be a little more due to supply and demand. $1800 for a used operator is absurd.Last edited by louscamaro91; 11-05-2011, 8:20 PM.Comment

Why limit yourself to roster options? Especially if you're dropping that kind of money...WTS all BNIB: Colt S70 Repro, HK45c, Gen4 G19Comment

When did the half rail TRP fall of the roster? I bought mine in 2008. I sold it it though and totally regret it. Anyways, I know that Iron Sights in Oceanside has a full rail operator in stock for $1799. Saw it yesterday. Direct Action Solutions in Solana Beach had one two weeks ago.Comment
