Once you get > $1500: Guncrafter Industries, Springfield Pro, Wilson, Nighthawk, etc. Just find the model you want and you can exempt it, don't limit yourself to the roster models. I'm not a fan of the Ed Brown chain link designs, but it's just a personal preference.WTS all BNIB: Colt S70 Repro, HK45c, Gen4 G19Comment

Hmm good point. I do like the model 2 from guncrafters. They have quality products I have their 50gi conversion for glocks and love it."It's better to die on your feet than to live on your knees."

By the way, if you're still after a TRP Operator, there's a pretty lightly used one going for $1400.

One thing to note here is; the seller has no feedback. caveat emptorBy the way, if you're still after a TRP Operator, there's a pretty lightly used one going for $1400.

Still think if you exceed $2500 you should go full customOriginally posted by jessegpresleyThe chainlink pattern on the Special Forces and the XX patern on Wilsons X-Tac keeps down production costs, which explains their lower price point in comparison to the rest of the companies line up.
Previously Cyc Wid It would recommend $7k Stan Chen or 4 year wait Harrison Design custom 1911s if someone was looking in the semi custom range, so it's nice to see he's gotten a little more realistic.
That's right around the threshold for a basic full house build including price of a base gun.

NOTICE! I just picked up a brand new TRP Operator with FULL RAIL from Socal Gun in San Diego for $1650. I bought a used one a couple years ago for a grand so the price increase was big but what a gun. This new one shoots even better than my older one. Very tight fit and the finish is perfect and looks very durable. I have about 500 rounds through the new one an not a single jam even though it's so tight. Buy it quickly if you can. I know he had three of them come in and I bought the 3rd only two days after it arrived.
Good luckComment

What the ****!
Knew I should've searched around more. Oh well.Comment

But wait...how can this be? The full rail TRP is the most rare and impossible to find handgun ever!!
The well has run dry...you will never find one...and if you do find one you would have to pay at least $1800!
Or perhaps not...maybe it just takes a few days of looking and then a few more days looking for a decent price.
