I got a pair of VooDoo Tactical Phantom gloves for motorcycle riding purposes (much less expensive than the hard knuckle gloves actually made for riding) and have used them a few times while shooting. They work great in both situations and I was actually very surprised at how much I enjoyed shooting with them on. ...especially pistol shooting, as the strap around the wrist stiffens your wrist up and effectively helps control muzzle flip...

But if you go to a Lowe's and check out the gloves in the tools area, some of those are REALLY freakin' nice, comfortable, grippy, have excellent dexterity, etc, and would make amazing shooting gloves.
