I actually didn't start out with Sig either, but the stuff I shot before Sigs didn't fit me as well as Sig's P-series does.

Now the Sig SP-series does not fit me AT ALL... so go figure.
If the glove doesn't fit, you must acquit.

Plus you are TOTALLY off base.

I just got done recommending the 1911 to this guy, which invalidates your comments.

I specifically said above that I cannot speak for CZs, because I don't have much experience with them and could only speak the guns I do have experience with...Sigs, Berettas, H&K USPs being among them.

I also specifically said that with enough time the DA/SA and any other gun can be mastered. They are just not as easy to master as other options.

So next time you decide to get in my face, at least get your facts straight.

Have you noticed that you are in every thread in which anyone says anything remotely negative about a Glock? And you always say the same thing - and you never preface it with "in my opinion, or experience". You accused the OP of “cheating” when it came to shooting a DA/SA because his experience didn’t support your favorite platform. What is that? Just silly nonsense.

Take the statement that I bolded in your post - I disagree. So there. It's your experience that leads you to say that but you readily admit to not having owned or trained on several platforms. My experience is otherwise - and there are people that would discount what I've learned and experienced.

That is my issue with your posts - it's not personal - it's the fact that you act like the lord of defensive pistol shooting. There are very few true professionals, and I don’t see them on this site – they tend to hang out on Brianenos.

PS – you should do yourself a favor and own a HP – they are the cats meow of double stack pistols. There is nothing finer pointing in a double stack 9mm then a nice HP – at least in my opinion.

I had no idea how much easier another platform would be to use either until somebody pointed out that in their opinion I was struggling with my Beretta.
I'm just going to take this one part of your response to illustrate one more time where I think you are going wrong with your posts and I'm going to let it all go once and for all afterwards.

My point is exactly, there was "no big deal" and no "hard part" for using DA/SA. Why you have a hard time believing that is possible, I don't understand. Not everyone is the same. Because you got stuck at your class on your beretta doesn't mean EVERYONE is going to have the same exact experience learning or using DA/SA as you did.

I stick by my position that everyone is different and everyone will find things they like or dislike about a particular system. I have no problem with the conclusions you have reached through your practice and learning.
I do think it is a bit silly that you always hold it out as 100% gospel truth applicable to everyone because it is applicable to you.

After trying, renting, borrowing a bunch of different stuff on my range days over the years, I have come to the conclusion that no one gun or system is really any better than any other, except on a purely individual basis based on personal preference.

When someone figures that out on their own, it seems like half of the forum is in shock, most (or at least the most vocal) think a glock is the end all, to all of the worlds problems. lol

SIGs are nice guns. Compared to a G**** the triggers are buttah. I've only fired a 226 once & did well with it, too. It could also be a concentration thing. Unfamiliar gun, so you concentrate on the fundamentals more. I've had that effect firing G*****. Pulling the trigger I really concentrated. Then had a sandwich. Then read a book...

Give the 220 another try when yer sack drops! Sorry. JK. Couldn't resist. I'm a bad person.

Glad you had a great experience with the Sig. I must say though that I find it to be a very common experience.

Most guns have a crisper trigger than a Glock does and Sig has one of the best for a run of the mill factory pistol.

I find I shoot my sig in DA better than any glock I've tried and in single action the sig is a thing of beauty.

I recommend that now you go try a XD Tactical and a 1911 for further awesomeness and great trigger comparison.

That would be my guess. Most likely #1 is the major factor
I was going to say #2 and #3. Good call.

I loaded up his mags, bang bang all in the 10 ring at 7 yards. Then with my Glock the groups weren't as tight. I have to say the single action on my uncles Sig226 was better than my Glock. Simple as that.... Anybody have similar experience?
Just about everyone who owns a german made sig. Glocks are great weapons but you cant get something for nothing. All that reliability (keeping in mind they can and do choke) comes at a cost. Barring lemons, a german made sig is always going to be more accurate than a glock because of the way both are engineered.

As far as the DA/SA debate, its a bunch of baloney. Which ever platform you choose you should practice enough to where its a non issue. Moreover if you ever have to pull the trigger for keeps, you may not even hear the sound of the round, much less the difference in the trigger pulls.

That and the glock consistency somes at a cost. No second strike capability. Dont get me wrong they are great weapons, just don't start smoking the Gaston Ganja. Everything has their pros and cons. Glocks are no different.

OP, if you like the Sig more, then do what you gotta do to get one... Even if it means selling the Glock. Personally, I would hang on to the glock and buy a sig. The glock can be your **** gun if you ever need a gun to trash. Sigs are just too pretty to totally trash.
