I think you may be arguing semantics here. The trade name for the Tula Cartridge Works in the US is TulAmmo USA. The copyright on the tulammousa.com website is registered to TulAmmoUSA.

It would seem that the Tula marketing department for the US foreign market wishes the product be referred to as, "TulAmmo," who are we to say they are wrong? Not trying to debate the point, it just looks to me like they want folks to call it TulAmmo. Rolls off the tongue nicely, to be honest.

That is interesting, I didn't know that. And yeah, I'm totally arguing semantics, It's one of my flaws .

I find it hard to figure out a way to pronounce it when it's written as "TulAmmo." Do people pronounce it like "Tool Ammo" or is it more like "Tull Ammo." I've got a thing about reading words in my head exactly as they are spelled, so different spellings always bother me because I don't know how to pronounce them in my head.
I just say "Tula Ammo" either way, but like you said the company could want it to be TulAmmo, who are we to tell them they spelled their own name wrong.

I use lots of steel cased ammo in both pistols and rifles and never have any problems with it.

Just to make sure: so Burro Canyon will allow 7.62x39 Tulammo to be used at their range?

If the RO (range officer) catches you, no. They check with a magnet all rifle ammo you bring with you to the rifle range, I got "busted" with TulAmmo 7.62x39 and he told me I had to put it in my car. Was a bit of a dampener on that day, but we got over it.

Burro's pistol range doesn't seem to care, we blasted all sorts of magnetic pistol ammo there (steel cased), no one cared, no one checked with a magnet.
