    American Made

What is the best American Made pistol (CA legal)?

Name one revolver and/or one Semi-Auto (in any caliber):

*Note: not looking to buy, so I don't want the typical (what's it for, the one that fits your hand.... etc). Just looking for what the general consensus is.

The "best" will very... I'd say Colt 1911s and their revolvers like a Detective Special or a Python

Do you mean on the roster? Because all American made pistols that are not AW are legal to own in California.
            Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Freedom arms is the best made production revolver availible today and may well be the best ever . You pay for quality and thats what you get . I have owned/own colts , rugers and smith and wessons and the last to go would be my Freedom arms .

But we all know you won't be able to talk yourself out of it. Just recently I was caught between FNP 9 and Sigpro 2022. Now that I have the FNP I still want the 2022.

                      Glocks.

                      I kid, I kid

I don't own any, but I think SW is the best bang for the buck imo. Ruger is a close second. Colt is good too, but I think they are over hyped and shouldn't costs as much.

                          A pre 1970's S&W N frame, probably a M-27.
A pre series 70 Colt Government Model in .45acp.
