If your willing to spend the money then just get the Sig. If you buy the CZ its a good gun but you'll always think about the Sig, so save your self the trouble and get Sig trust me.

The Btfo is awesome. The tritium fiber optic front sight is great. Gun is smooth and accurate. The 226 is one of my fav shooters

I'd go CZ as well and I've owned 3 P226s. They are indeed nice guns.. but I don't think they're worth the extra cost vs CZ.

CZs just point and shoot more naturally for me and I think have better ergos + controls. It has a reverse/scalloped frame/rail setup so you can ride the gun higher. I've never had a CZ not lock up properly for me after the last shot. With Sigs, you have to make sure your hand doesn't interfere with the slide catch. The lower bore axis is just a bonus.

I've been through Sigs and H&Ks and if I were in the market for a steel DA/SA today, I'd go CZ. Just off of shooting my friend's Phantom and 75 B, I know the SP-01 is a champ.

^ I think its worth a look too. In my opinion, it won't give you the "luxury" feeling shooting that a P226 or a CZ might give you (it is polymer afterall), but I think its a very innovative DA/SA gun. It differs from most because its striker-fired instead of hammer and you can carry the gun safely in 3 different trigger modes. Its got one of the cleanest breaks in DA/SA.

Admittedly, compared to other guns I've shot, there is more perceived recoil for me, but it might be because I'm currently shooting with the medium back strap. I just switched it with the large last night, hopefully it'll serve me better next range visit. - BTW, another great feature of the gun.. comes with 3 different back straps.

Wow I had no idea that the cz was so popular. I think this is going to be at the top of my list to check out. Plus if they are 300 or so cheaper I can grab some goodies for it.
