    Beretta later changed to the slide mounted safety with the Model 92S. While Taurus stayed with the frame mounted safety.

    You should be happy about your pistol seeing as there were only about 5000 of them made.

    Yes, wouldn"t trade or sell either one. I prefer the frame safety, as I'm very acustom to the 1911.
