What is GSSF?

• GSSF (Glock Sports Shooting Foundation) is a membership program that allows members to participate in shooting events for Glocks and only Glocks. Though, the main reason anyone that would want to participate in this program, is that you are able to purchase a Glock pistol at a discounted price of once per year.

What benefits does GSSF provides?

As a member you can:

• Purchase a Glock pistol at a discounted price of once per year.

• Participate in GSSF Matches.

• Participate in Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP).

• Attend Glock Armorer’s courses.

• Have your Glocks serviced by a Glock Armorer for free (parts and labor) at GSSF events.

• You can also purchase an additional Glock at preferential prices when you attend a Glock Armorers Course.

How do I enroll?

• To enroll, you go to http://gssfonline.com/index.cfm and fill out the application form and submit the form along with your money to GSSF. There are 1 year, 3 year, 5 year, and lifetime membership programs. The membership process can take anywhere from one week to months. It depends how busy the people at GSSF are.

How much does it cost?

• The GSSF memberships are priced as follow:

Individual membership:
1 year = $35, renew is $25
3 year = $90, renew is $60
5 year = $135, renew is $95
Lifetime = $350

Family membership (3 or more)
1 year = $90, renew is $70
3 year = $230, renew is $170
5 year = $350, renew is $255
Lifetime = $900


Do I get anything with my membership?

• Along with your membership card, you will get a Glock hat, Glock Annual magazine, and two issues of Glock report.

Ok, now I’m enrolled, where can I get my Glock?

• In order to get your Glock at a discounted price, you need to find a local or out of state dealer who participates in the GSSF program. To find a local participating GSSF dealer, call Donna from GSSF. The number is 770-437-4718. You may also call Glock (company) at 770-432-1202.
  
  
• *Important* You must call to get a list of local participating dealers. GSSF or Glock will not give out the list via email.
  
  
• Once you receive a number for a local GSSF dealer, make sure to call that dealer and make sure they are indeed participating in the program and that your Glock model is available.

How many mags do I get?

• As of 2010, any Glocks except for sub-compact models, will get 3 mags with their Glock. Sub-compact models, will only come with two.
  
  
• *Note* Make sure your local dealer gives you 3 mags! Some dealers are not aware of this change as the old program only gives you 2 mags.

I hear there are only 2 dealers in California that participates in GSSF?

• This is not true. As of 2010, GSSF has made it easier for dealers to participate in the program. There are now more than two dealers out there in Cali that participates. In order to find out this list, you need to call GSSF or Glock.

I hear you can purchase two Glocks in a one year membership?

• Yes you can. GSSF pistol program goes by calendar year. If you purchased your membership on February 2011 and you bought a Glock in 2011, then in 2012, you can purchase a second Glock at a discounted price. You can also get purchase another additional Glock at a Glock Armorer’s course for a total of 3.

Where can I find online dealers who participates in GSSF?

  A well known Glock vendor. Can also enroll you in the GSSF program at the same time of your pistol purchase. Saves any waiting time vs. enrolling through GSSF themselves.

I Called GSSF and they told me these were 2 GSSF dealers, I was at 2nd Amendment Sports and they kinda gave me the run around so I would try another place.

There currently exists a shortage of Gen3 G19 and G23's (w/10rd Mags and Fixed sights) for Law Enforcement (LE) distributors. There is no problem with Gen4 availability, but that doesn't help civilians in CA who want to do the GSSF pistol purchase program.

If you're planning on joining GSSF for the pistol purchase program and you want either of these pistols you may have to wait. And it's anybody's guess when they'll become available again.

Any dealer who participates in the GSSF program and doesn't have them in stock will have to order you the pistol when they become available. Have them check availability to insure they can get it for you.

There were two LE Glock distributors, OMB Guns, and Davidsons Inc. that served California. However, OMB Guns had some fallout with Glock and they did not renew their distribution agreement. That leaves Davidsons as the only LEO Glock distributor for the west coast.

I made a lot of phone calls yesterday trying to get to the bottom of this so the above should be correct.
