Two monks were walking along a river when they came upon a woman drowning in the frigid water.

Student knew that the monks were forbidden to touch women, and did not know what to do. He stood on the side of the river, unable to act.

Master lept into the water, carried the woman out, set her down, and calmly continued his walk.

Miles later, Student could stand it no longer. "Master, we are forbidden to touch women, yet you carried her like it meant nothing! How can this be?"

Master struck Student with his stick. "I put her down at the side of the river. You have been carrying her ever since."

I've written up my ongoing adventures as I learn to hunt.

Yes, you CAN fit a case of shotgun shells into a .50cal ammo can.

I think i found an optimal solution for ammo can labeling.

I made this target for the NRA's Marksman pistol test. I think it's a lot better than the paper plate they suggest.

It's a contest. First customer that crawls past the counter below the muzzles wins a "SAFEST GUN OWNER OF THE YEAR" award. And a Glock.

Pretty common from what i've seen and am not botherd by it.. But Try having the owner of a gun store point a ruger LCR crimson at your face to show another customer The "pretty Laser" lower to tell you it's not loaded then proceed to point it back at you head..needless to say i will never go back and the guy should not have an FFL for numerous other reasons.

They are put in there that way because they handle is facing the clerk, and that is where you pick up a gun by.

It is not dangerous for a weapon to be pointed at anyone when it is unloaded and unhandled.

Yes I know we assume all weapons are cocked and locked, but still they are only inanimate objects and pose no danger until they enter a hand.

A gunstore hand is probably the safest hand you can find, at least within the store.

No gunstore owner is going to have ammunition anywhere near the display guns, and it's more important where the gun is pointed when they are picked up.

p.s. don't give the "liberals" any ideas. Next thing you know they will demand all business's to buy expensive bullet-proof display fronts for gun shops.

✟ In the beginning was the 1911, and the 1911 was THE pistol, and it was good. And behold the Lord said, "Thou shalt not muck with my disciple John's design for it is good and it workith. For John made the 1911, and lo all of his weapons, from the designs which I, the Lord, gave him upon the mountain."✟

this thread reminds me of the 40yr old virgin. When steve carrell asks the sex ed lady "is it true if you don't use it, you lose it?" hahaha.
