My opinions are my own and do not represent the position of other companies I may be involved with. -
Get a life!!! They are rioting in Egypt and there is war and conflicts in many nations and you are worried about where display guns are pointing! And then there is famine, poverty and disease. Worry about things that have substance and devote your enery to them.Comment

It's for the salesmen's safety. They are not pointed at him.***Honesty is the Foundation of One's Character***
*** In comparing the virtues of various calibers, using hollow point ammo: it is absolutely undeniable that, while a 9 mm or .40 S&W may or may not expand, a .45 will never shrink. ***

Makes it easier for the salesman to get the gun out of the glass case with the grip accessible. If you can't shoot good, at least look good shootingComment

A gun is almost always pointing at SOMETHING. My solution: all pistols are displayed on motorized spinning platters. That way, no one is unfairly pointed at more than any other person. Then anotherhorsePONY came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a huge sword. My kinda guy.Comment

In all the way too many years I have been around guns, I have never yet seen one jump up and shoot someone all by itself.
In the display case, point them anyplace you want. Once it gets picked up, start worrying where the little hole gets pointed.Comment

then ask them to take it out and show it to you.We in Bangor, Maine now baby.Comment
