Although I don't have one of the CZ75 type I really think you should get a CZ SP-01 or if you run across one an EAA Witness full size. You'll feel the difference between an all steel gun and your Glock. A 1911 in 9mm is not a bad idea, but those are hard to come by.

              I would really like to try a 1911 in 9mm after I buy a 1911 45.

I dislike Glocks. Out of the list I picked the FNP-9. It looks cool and I actually think the mag baseplate looks cool too

Not on the list? Anything NOT poly/plastic.

I feel weird about 9mm 1911s... seems almost sacrilegious or something

                Almost a tie:

+4 on SA 9mm 1911! I loved the one I shot and want one for myself now.

The full length dust cover rail makes a world of difference in the "when I run out of bullets I'm going to beat you to death with the pistol" look that causes bad guys to run in fear, and lesser men to feel inadequate. It looks just plain beastly and the extra heft up front does help manage recoil a bit better. Plus, an angel told me that when God called JMB to heaven it was to build him a full rail 1911!

I was going to say the same thing. Tons of aftermarket, huge following in general, and its one of the only guns I've seen to have a 1911 style thumb safety, exposed hammer, half cock, and single action trigger pull that can be cleaned up really well with a trigger job.

M&P 9! I love the ergonomics of this gun. The FNP9 isn't too bad, but a bit large for my hands (shoots great though), and I just dislike the Glock frames in general. Feels like I'm holding onto a big Lego block. Sig pro is meh.... Just doesn't feel like a real Sig.
