    Need another 9mm

Have the XD9 so we'll eliminate that from the picture, I know where this is pretty much going to go, but my immediate thoughts are the FNP-9, M&P9, and Glock 19. Open to other suggestions in the general price range as well. I like the FNP-9's sa/da and hammer, but that damn magazine base plate annoys me a little. Don't really care for the beavertail on the M&P, and the glock grip is a bit odd to me (not the angle, just the feel). Want a grip at least the length of the g19's. I have an XD45 compact, and with the flush mags it's just a hair too short with my pinky hanging off but the 19 fits all my fingers. I'm able to adapt pretty good. Even with the funny grip feel, I was able to shoot my G23 quite well. Oh well, I'll sum this up, lets hear it.... EDIT: I already purchased an SW990L $359 NIB. Getting a G19 next month then maybe I'll look at a CZ later. may this thread Rest in Peace!

            I voted something else.
That something else is the Browning Hi-Power.
            No finer 9mm ever made.

Sig 226 or Glock 34. Both are fine shooters. Personally I prefer the Sig's trigger pull, but many folks shoot the Glock 34 in competition and love them.

Glock 19 and s&w m&p for a runner up. Just pick two and flip a coin!

I own an M&P9 and really like it. I voted for it above and I highly recommend them.

BUT, since you already have a poly pistol, if you are up for something else, how about the CZ pictured above. I have shot them and I liked them.

                        Just a thought...

Haven't shot an FNH handgun, but I've read quite a few reviews about the FNP9/FNX9 (virtually the same thing). All the reviews were good... a few neutral/bad, but they were from people just trying it out and didn't put too many rounds in it.

FNP can be a very nice surpise, but glock 19 is hard to beat when you consider the price and the avaliability of parts.
