id say glock 19, but since you already have a polyframe striker fire id say something different, maybe a beretta 92 or CZ75.
I started out with the 19 then got a beretta 92

LOL I ALREADY BOUGHT A SMITH & WESSON 990L I will be getting the G19 next month. Already have a Nighthawk Predator that was my grandfather's, and a S&W 4506. I actually prefer polymer pistols for the lighter weight.

I have three 9mm pistols......a Sig 226, Browning HP, and a Kahr PM9. I like them all and they each have their purpose. If I were in the market for another 9mm, I think I would very seriously consider a CZ-USA product. They handle well, shoot accurately, are well made and feel "right." I also own three CZ rifles (.17 HMR, 9.3 X 62, and .375 H&H). I know from experience that CZ puts out a quality product.

It's hard to beat a Hi-Power. Just be willing to learn to use a single action auto. Someday (soon, I hope) you will be able to buy the right mag for them.
