I don't care for shooting my friend's CZ-75B that much since I don't like the way it feels, but that SP-01 pic looks really good. You need to put some good rubber grips on the CZ's because it doesn't feel good with the plastic grips.... for me at least.

You can make a Glock fun to shoot with just a few simple mods, some that doesn't cost anything ($.25 trigger job for example). I always have a lot of fun with my G19 at the defensive handgun courses because it's fun to shoot.

What would be a lot of fun, but nearly impossible to get at this time in CA (unless you find one via PPT, intrafamily transfer one, or are LEO), is a RIA 1911 9mm. I recently shot one and it feels very similar as just as fun as shooting a SA Loaded 9mm, but at half the price.

once you had one you'll never go back...
oh you might get one in every caliber ...
but you will love the 9mm

1911 if you can afford and find one. If not a 1911, then a CZ.

1911 in 9mm would be way more awesome if you could get one in commander size. wish RIA would make a cheap one.

since you have one made of plastic, why dont you try something metal.

If you like DA/SA, in your price range, I'd say CZ PCR or P01. Something different and it is alloy frame instead of polymer. Also, the ergos are great.

If not CZ, then P2000 V3 or PX4.
